Charge Women's Fellowship is a group of Christian Women from the Barnitz and Mt. Zion congregations working together for God in our community.  CWF meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:15 PM in the Barnitz Social Hall.  This group has four active committees:

Shut Ins: Charge Women visit shut-ins in their homes and nursing homes. 

Local Missions: CWF sponsors local needy families and provides them with food, shoes, clothing holiday gifts and friendship.  Families are assisted until they can manage on their own.

Meals:  The ladies of CWF prepare and freeze meals for those in need.  Food is given to shut-ins, people returning home after a hospital stay and others unable to provide for themselves.  CWF also provide meals after funeral services relieving the grieving family of this burden.

Bible Study: Members can participate in one of the church sponsored Disciple or Christian Believer bible studies.

Charge Women also support the United Methodist Children's Home by collecting items of basic necessity: shampoo and other hair care products, boxer shorts, socks, birthday wrapping paper and McDonald's gift certificates. 

CWF also has several fundraisers:

• Ham & Cheese sandwich sales
• Cutlery sales
• Craft bazaar and soup sale each fall
• Concession stands at various public sales and auctions

Profits from fundraisers are used to support the activities of each CWF committee.

Charge Women' Fellowship is a hard working group who always manage to have fun while participating in the ministries they do.  All women are welcome.  Feel free to join us!
